Structure of family house in El Campello

The complete structure was made with reinforced concrete, following the design and guidelines of the architectural firm COR & Asociados.

The image above shows a 360-degree visualization of the whole structure of the single-family house, which was made entirely in reinforced concrete, as well as other elements that are detailed below.
Formwork and propping
The image above shows the formwork and propping of the ground floor structure, in order to uphold the concrete slab of the following floor.
The slab was made with a unidirectional system of concrete joists and beams prepared in situ.
Righ-beams
The same structural system was used for the slab of the upper floor. The formwork of the perimeter beams had an uncommon geometry due to the architectural design.
The characteristics of this project required to adapt the slab in order to fit with the oblique lines of the design, but without losing the structural simplicity of an orthogonal slab.
Concrete pergola
Another attractive point of the design is the incorporation of concrete pergolas in the exterior. The formwork of these elements was prepared in-situ.
Roof finishing.
For the finishing of the facades, the traditional system of bricks factory was combined with concrete formwork walls. It is important for us to work with delicacy in this phase, so the details will look with a natural finish in the final phase.

This project is located on a complex orography, but we faced this constraint with enthusiasm. Solving big problems can compensate you with great results.
Thanks to the position of the building on the ground, the views from the top floor are unbeatable.
