Spatial optimization and performance in a home
On many occasions the interior spaces of the houses are not used or we do not know how to squeeze their spatial performance. For this reason, at Araque Maqueda we place great emphasis on each project in seeking to maximize how to optimize and get the most out of the quality of the interior space so that they are comfortable and, above all, that you want to live in them, habitable.
We show you an action carried out recently in the town of Elda, where the main idea was to provide more space to the kitchen to connect it with the outdoor terrace, in which a swimming pool was designed for you to enjoy in the hottest seasons.

The expansion of the kitchen was developed generating an exterior to interior space, complying with all current regulations. Placing a cover with a sandwich panel and a false continuum that would allow us to generate that continuity with the existing kitchen to generate that connection between the spaces.
The expansion of the kitchen allows us to create a central area for family gatherings, and in turn a bar with stools that allows us to generate those daily and dynamic situations that occur on a day-to-day basis.
In the design of the kitchen, much emphasis was placed on its encounters, generating these encounters in the cleanest and most aesthetic way possible. The kitchen furniture is made of anthracite silk finish with Hamilton oak laminate, while the drawers are chosen for a lighter color with well-marked betas that provide us with a contrast.
Due to the events suffered in the past, today it is prioritized to achieve that permeability and relationship between interior and exterior, and in this case it is developed with the placement of a window by means of folding leaves.
Making the most of the spaces is an objective, in this case the dimensions of the pool were hurried to the maximum, but controlling at the same time not to break the scale and harmony of the interior space, taking into account these parameters surprising results can be obtained. In turn, green was integrated into the space, combining synthetic grass linings with vegetation on the dividing wall.
Before, it seemed unthinkable to have a swimming pool with a waterfall in a home, it is more associated with disconnection hotels, but today it is a reality that is constantly developing in the construction of swimming pools.
