Single family house in Hondón de las Nieves

Access

The access to the house is done through a gravel road which allows a discrete approach to the plot. The entrance door is located in the north facade of the main block.

Pool

The pool is arranged in parallel to the house and it is equipped with an automatic cover system.

The roller cover is hidden under a pine-wood decking treated to improve its resistance to sun exposure, thus avoiding the common overheating of other flooring systems.

During the construction of the pool all the levels were studied to ensure that the sidewalk, the beam and the wood deck were perfectly flush.

The pool was tiled with small white tiles, and blue tiles were added on the steps to highlight the level changes. The sidewalk of the pool was integrated with the rest of the pavement, pieces with curved edge were placed in the border.

Facade

The facade cladding was chosen in earth tone to fit with the color palette of the environment. For the application of the monolayer mortar a previous cement plastering was carried out to guarantee the maximum flatness of the surface.

Living room and kitchen

The entrance to the house already shows a wide and diaphanous space opened to the landscape.

The wide kitchen island divides the space into different areas, generating a very cozy atmosphere for visitors.

Throughout the entire project the same color range was used. The kitchen combines doors in a beige-shine tone with shelves in walnut wood. During kitchen assembly special care was taken to leave all the doors and elements perfectly aligned.

The quartz countertop was expressly sought for this project to follow the tonality of the set.

Windows

The same white-pearl color was also sought for all the exterior carpentry. The windows were prescribed in aluminum with thermal break and a 4 + 4/10/4 + 4 safety insulating glass. The mosquito nets were integrated in the carpentry itself with a pleated opening system with a smooth gray texture.

During the execution of the pavement the works were coordinated to leave the windows guides hidden and flush with the finished floor.

The house is protected from the outside with self-locking security shutters with motorized opening.

Bedrooms

The bedrooms open to the south, as does the living room, but the projection of the porch avoids excessive sun exposure in summer.

Bathrooms

The furniture of the master bathroom was tailored made to suit with the requirements of the clients. The walnut wood doors were made from the same wood panel to maintain the continuity in the pattern of the wood.

The quality perceived in the small details and in the perfect placement of the tiling gives the house an added value.

The same finishes of the main bathroom were used for the guest bathroom, thus unifying the interior design of the house.

Solar installation

The house is fully supplied with solar energy, including both the electrical installation and the hot water system, and it is equipped with all the comforts you could need in a villa located in this kind of environment, such as heated pool, ducted air conditioning, microwave, hot water …

A fully-equipped and energy self-sufficient house.
